Pirates roam the fringes of the system searching for treasure. Small vessels should be wary of running into these scavengers. A ship can be stripped in no time, and if you aren't blown of an airlock you're left to drift with an uncertain fate in a lifeboat. Aside from valuable cargo, a ships very rare hyperdrive is the most valuable treasure of all.
