DECIMATED : DESERT HIGHWAY

A few weeks ago I was given a break from designing vehicles for DECIMATED and was asked to help out with some of the environment concepts.
The team have been building the DECIMATED world and every week I’ve seen it grow and what were basic blocked out environments are now much more detailed and fleshed out. It’s been fascinating to see.
So I jumped at the chance to contribute.
One of the first things I was asked to do was look at the highways that wind through the desert landscape. They needed a modular system with straight sections and also curves. I added drainage, vents and access plates along with crash barriers and room for utility pipes if they are ever exposed.
